A bit about me

Someone wearing a cozy green sweater sits at a table with a coffee cup, smiling warmly in a warm-toned setting.

Hey, I’m Marc (he/him) a Glasgow-based wedding, elopement and family photographer.

To put it simply, I love capturing moments. I’m at my happiest when me and my wonderfully talented girlfriend Lexi (who often joins me as my second shooter) head out on a road trip, spending hours exploring the quiet corners of Scotland with our cameras.

We have just moved in together so when we’re not busy attempting to build Ikea furniture, you’ll probably find us planning our next trip. In a couple of weeks time we are heading to Japan to celebrate our birthdays!

I couldn’t be more excited to finally check it off from our never-ending travel bucket list.

A tan and white dog with a blue collar stands alertly in a field of tall grass.
A cozy coffee setup with a green teapot on a round wooden table near garden chairs.
Inside a warmly lit bar, a camera captures someone smiling in a mirror reflection.
Black and white photo of someone reading a book in front of a bookshelf.

Why I started

Marc Campbell Weddings
A hiker's perspective looking down at their boots on a rocky mountain summit.

I’ve been a full-time photographer for just over four years now. Like many others, my journey began during the pandemic when I picked up a camera to get into behind-closed-doors basketball games. That led me to specialise in basketball photography for a couple of years.

In 2023, I made the leap to self-employment by shifting my focus to live music, tours, and festival photography. I had the privilege of travelling all across the UK, working alongside incredible artists, however, the relentless pace of that lifestyle eventually wore me out and photography had stopped feeling fun - it had become a job.

Every project required a conscious effort to ignite passion but everything changed when I was asked to shoot my first wedding. It was different. The connection and emotion are already there - making it effortless to love what I do.

That first wedding reignited my passion, and I was hooked.

I haven’t looked back since!

Think we would be a good fit?
